May 09, 2019
The first event in Toronto kicks off a multi-city mini series offering the full dotCMS Bootcamp User Conference experience to customers in a more intimate and casual setting.
TORONTO, CANADA - dotCMS, the leading open-source hybrid CMS, is teaming up with its digital agency partner Myplanet to host dotCMS Connect in Toronto, Canada on May 14-15, 2019.
dotCMS Connect, a multi-city user conference mini series, will bring together savvy marketers, innovative technologists, and dotCMS experts to explore, learn, and discuss the latest innovations and features powering today’s digital experiences.
The two-day event will give customers and users access to multiple hands-on training sessions, workshops, and breakouts with dotCMS developers and the certified implementation experts from Myplanet.
Selected sessions will shed light on the recently released dotCMS 5.1, as well as how dotCMS can be enabled in various deployment strategies.
“There is so much value in sitting down with our customers and partners to explore what’s around the corner,” said Tim Brigham, dotCMS Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer. “The fellowship and feedback we get at these events inspires everyone.”
Myplanet’s Michael Younder, Head of Partner Operations, was just as enthusiastic about the two-day event, remarking that “dotCMS Connect is the perfect way for us here at Myplanet to showcase the cutting-edge work we’re doing with dotCMS’s Java technology.”

About dotCMS
dotCMS is a content management system that helps global enterprises with multiple brands, subsidiaries, and franchises manage, optimize, and scale content across languages and channels. Brands such as Dairy Queen, Newell, Firstmac, Telus, and Comcast have chosen dotCMS for its unique ability to manage thousands of sites and consolidate multiple CMSs onto a single, unified instance of dotCMS to streamline content management across teams while saving money on platform costs.
dotCMS’ universal approach to content management also means that companies have the choice to deliver content traditionally or headlessly. Headless developers can work within the front-end framework of choice while still providing marketers with visual editing tools so they can go to market with their business-critical content and decrease their dependency on technical teams.
