dotCMS Announces Key Hires To Accelerate Strategic Growth
Mar 15, 2022
MIAMI (Mar. 15, 2022) — dotCMS, a leading hybrid-headless content management system, announced the appointments of J. Todd Bennett as vice president of marketing and Jack Diego as product manager– both new roles for the company. Their appointments come on the heels of the announcement of a significant growth investment and new company leadership last October.
Todd brings nearly 30 years of marketing and consulting experience to dotCMS, with expertise in digital transformation, website development, content strategy, UX design and market research. An early adopter and innovator in the use of content management systems, he was one of dotCMS’ first customers in 2003. That experience led to him being recruited by Dotmarketing, the agency that spawned dotCMS, where he worked alongside the founding team as managing director of consulting services.
In the newly created product manager role, Jack Diego will help to align the company around a customer-centric product vision. Jack’s varied experience in high-volume, customer-facing, data-driven software companies over two decades includes a successful stint at Microsoft where he served as senior product manager & program manager for data & analytics in their BingAds Planning & Strategy Group.
“Our success in building a great product and successful company in the absence of these two positions is a testament to the extraordinary work of the team at dotCMS. Adding Todd and Jack, with their significant skills and expertise, will only serve to accelerate our growth,” said Zain Ishaq, CEO of dotCMS.
In the past year, employee headcount at dotCMS has grown by 25 percent, with the recruitment for additional roles ongoing.
About dotCMS
dotCMS is a content management system that helps global enterprises with multiple brands, subsidiaries, and franchises manage, optimize, and scale content across languages and channels. Brands such as Dairy Queen, Newell, Firstmac, Telus, and Comcast have chosen dotCMS for its unique ability to manage thousands of sites and consolidate multiple CMSs onto a single, unified instance of dotCMS to streamline content management across teams while saving money on platform costs.
dotCMS’ universal approach to content management also means that companies have the choice to deliver content traditionally or headlessly. Headless developers can work within the front-end framework of choice while still providing marketers with visual editing tools so they can go to market with their business-critical content and decrease their dependency on technical teams.
